Growing up within a milieu of addiction – Pastoral perspectives

The content of this course is based on Dr Claudia Black’s book, It will never happen to me. Growing up with addiction as youngsters, adolescents, adults. As someone who herself grew up in a home where there was addiction, her presentation is based on the one hand on her own practical experience as a child in a home with an addicted father, and on the other hand on thorough academic research, together with many years of experience in practice. Against this background, we are throughout this course also focusing on relevant pastoral implications.
