Year Course in Pastoral Care focused on Children and Young People – Part 2

In Year 1 of our Year-Course focused on Children and Young People, we focused on the overwhelming pain that children and young people sometimes struggle with – pain and trauma that in many cases already began prenatally. In this Follow-up course, we focus on a number of further critical areas where children and young people can suffer emotional scars, and which they carry with them for the rest of their lives if guidance is not provided. Some of the critical areas include addiction, suicide, attention deficit disorder, eating disorders, emotional trauma, etc. Particular emphasis is also placed on practical guidelines towards healing and restoration. Persons who will particularly benefit from this course are those who have already successfully completed Year-1, as well as youth pastors, youth workers, counselors at schools, catechists, teachers, Sunday school teachers, social workers, as well as pastoral counselors who focus on children and young people.
